I've been painting all different forms of rocks for thirty years, the largest having to be moved by a tractor (of a tractor!) I've done a lot of special orders of lots of interesting things, classic cars, harley davidsons, all animals, portraits and landscapes. I do alot of rock hunting, I'm always keeping an eye out, its kind of an obsession. Actually they're quite usefull, they make great doorstops, paperweights, look good sitting in your garden or kicking it by the fireplace. (also a great emergency weapon! )
